Senior Design Engineer
Key Solutions LLP is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in manufacturing design and expertise in SolidWorks and other CAD software to lead design projects and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
- E. in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
- Experience in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, CATIA is required.
- Experience with 3D modeling, assemblies, and 2D drawing.
- Knowledge of manufacturing methods and design for manufacturing is a must.
- Should be able to analyze a design for manufacturability, ergonomics, choice of materials, FMEA.
- Problem solving skills and analytical, quick thinking and learning ability, self-organization and thoughtful leadership is a must.
- Must be in Lahore.
- Full-time, onsite position.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage CAD operations, ensuring the accurate and efficient execution of 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings.
- Oversee and conduct quality control (QC) of the project team’s design work.
- Collaborate with the CAD Team Lead and Senior Technicians to maintain workflow and ensure timely project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and CAD technicians.
- Act as a primary resource for SolidWorks and Inventor on client projects, ensuring designs meet specifications and deadlines.
- Support reverse engineering projects and contribute to design optimization.
- Assist with project design deliverables, provide regular updates, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Develop and enhance documentation, workflows, and training materials to promote team and project success.
Hiring Process & Contractual Terms
- Hiring stages: Two rounds of online interviews and one onsite test.
- A 2-year contractual commitment is mandatory.
- A bachelor’s degree will be required as a security deposit upon joining (held until contract obligations are met).
Compensation & Benefits
- Market Competitive Salary (disbursed on the first week of each month)
- Loyalty bonus after 2 years (15% of the monthly salary will be contributed by the company every month).
- Paid leaves (annual, sick, and casual).
- Annual increment of 20-30% if performance goals is met.
- Employee will be granted an opportunity to appear for Solid Work CSWP after completion of one year of their contract. Keyway Solution will pay half of the course fee with a fee not exceeding $200.
- Note: No additional benefits are available currently.
Working Hours
- 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
